It is one of the most profitable and successful ways to earn money for bloggers. Google selects relevant ads to display, related to the content on your website.
Google Adsense works on a PPC basis, the cost of each click is variable, it depends on the keywords that your website is using. For example, if the keywords on your website are “money”, “advertising”, “cars”, “business”, this are high paying keywords and you will receive a good amount if someone clicks on your ads with this keywords.

Another popular method of getting a lot of traffic and make secure and quick income from your blog is by selling links on your blog roll. Links are sold from $1 to $50 per month or even more, this depends mostly on your PR (Google Page Rank). If your website has no PR but receives some good traffic you can earn $1-$5 per month with one link. If it is a PR3 or more you can fairly ask for $10-$50 for each link on your blog.
Selling banner space
Just as links, you can also sell banner ad space instead of using Adsense. If you think your website has low-paying keywords or if you can´t use Adsense, you can try to sell banner ad space using Adbrite or search for advertisers on forums like Digital Point. The only difference between links is that you can also display images and animations/flash.

If your website provides some free service or if your blog provides unique and interesting content you can place a donnation button so that the visitos can “thank you” and continue supporting the blog development, even if it just pays the hosting fees.
Write unique articles for people
If you are knowledgeable on certain subjects, then writing articles can also be profitable for you.
Each quality article worths from $5-$15. Keyword optimization is highly encouraged on each article for better Search Engine positions on that keyword.
